I’m Javeria Hareem, a brand designer in Lahore, and this page is for anyone searching for one: what I design, who it’s for, what it costs, and how working together actually goes.

I’ve kept it plain. If you’re a Lahore business owner comparing a few designers, or you’re abroad and found me through a case study, you should be able to read this in five minutes and know whether to message me.

Who you’re dealing with

One person. I started sketching logos in notebooks as a teenager, spent my early years selling them for very little, and over seven years and more than a thousand projects across fifty-odd industries turned that into strategy-led identity work. Jayy Studio is me, from the first message to the last file. There is no account manager and nobody junior doing the work after the sales call.

I work from Rose Commercial in Park View City, Lahore. Most clients never need to visit, and I’d rather you didn’t feel you had to: the whole process runs over WhatsApp, email and video or phone calls, which is also how it works for my clients in the Gulf, the UK and the US.

What a brand designer in Lahore can make for you

Logo design: a mark built on a grid so it holds at 16 pixels and on a shop sign, delivered in every format a printer or developer will ask for. Brand identity systems: the logo plus the colour, type, layout and applications that have to match it. Brand guidelines: the rulebook, so the next person can’t get it wrong. Packaging and label design built to the dieline, with nutrition and barcode panels set properly. Social media templates your team can post with. Pitch decks, and print such as menus, flyers and signage. The services page has the detail on each.

The industries vary: construction and real estate, food and beverage, beauty and hair care, supplements, sports, pets, tech. The questions I ask are the same whatever you sell.

A grid of the full Aurexon identity: smartwatch face, internal sign, business cards, work jacket with a globe graphic, phone app icon, packing tape, browser favicon and a lanyard with ID badge.
Aurexon Construction: a full identity designed here in Lahore, from the logo grid to the 21-page book.
Two KAE Oil dropper bottles in dark olive glass beside two dark green cartons printed with the KAE HAIR CARE wordmark and a gradient dropper silhouette, on a pale stone surface.
KAE Hair Care: identity and print-ready packaging for a launch range.

Who it’s for, in Lahore and beyond

In Lahore and across Pakistan: founders launching something new, businesses that have outgrown a logo made in a hurry, restaurants and cafes that need a brand which works on a bag and a sign, food and beauty brands heading for a shelf, and companies that want to be taken seriously by bigger clients than they currently win. The brief for Aurexon, a construction firm that wanted developers to see an engineering company rather than a contractor, is one I hear in different words from Lahore businesses every month. Construction company branding covers that sector in more depth.

Abroad: the same kinds of founders, mostly in the Gulf, the UK, Europe and North America, who want a senior designer’s attention at a one-person studio’s price. If that’s you, this post covers what international clients should know.

How working together goes

Five steps, and you know the delivery date on day one. Discovery: a short questionnaire and a conversation about your business, your customers and the competitors you lose to, with nothing designed yet. Direction: references and palettes agreed before anything is polished. Design: concepts shown on a sign, a bottle, a phone or a shirt, not on a white square. Refine: revisions are part of the job, and I’ll tell you if a change would weaken the work. Handoff: organised, clearly named files in every format, plus the rules for using them. The full process is written up here.

A logo takes 3 to 5 days. A full identity 7 to 10. Packaging about a week, depending on how many variants you have. You own the final files outright once the project is paid in full.

What it costs

The packages and their starting prices are on the pricing page, from $99 for a starter logo. Beyond the packages, most of my projects fall between about $99 and $1,500. A logo alone sits at the low end; a full identity with guidelines and packaging at the top. You get a fixed quote with the scope and timeline written down, a 50% deposit books your slot, and the balance is due before the final files. If your budget is tighter than the scope, I’ll say so and suggest what to trim rather than quietly do less. How logo pricing works in general is its own post.

Proof

Rather than tell you the work is good, here is where to check: the full portfolio, with case studies for a construction identity, a hair oil launch, a supplement range, a luxury property brand and a sports brand, among others. Each case study shows the guideline pages and the applications, not just the logo.

Arista business cards laid in a diagonal grid: navy cards with a copper circular A monogram and a thin copper line, and white cards with the ARISTA wordmark and monogram in copper.
Arista Living: a 45-page style guide for a luxury property brand, designed from the same desk.

How to start

Three ways, whichever suits you. Message me on WhatsApp: the fastest, and fine for a one-line question. Fill in the contact form with a few sentences about the business and what you need. Or book a 30-minute call, any day between 11:00 and 19:00 PKT, over Google Meet, phone or WhatsApp. I reply within a few hours either way, and I’ll tell you honestly if you don’t need me yet.

Questions founders ask me

  • Nearly everything runs over WhatsApp, email and calls, and that is how I work with clients in Lahore as well as abroad. It keeps the project moving and means you have everything in writing. If a project genuinely needs an in-person session, ask and we’ll see what’s practical.
